- Synopsis
- THE OFFICER WITH A ROSE is a warm, charming and unusual love story taking place in 1945 in a just liberated town of Zagreb. A young couple, the liberators, for whom the war has finished, has disturbed the life of a woman from the third floor of a fine secession house but the revolution was still going on and the life has just started. They are the lieutenant Petar Horvat and his girl friend, the eighteen year old Ljiljana. One love story is about to disappear, the other is to take place and start the life story of a powerful emotional charge that will reach a tragic dimension of human destiny.
