    • Synopsis
    • In the mountains of Hindu Kush, in Pakistan, among 165 million Muslims, unfolds the unique story of 4,000 Kalasha, an ancient pagan tribe that worships nymphs, gods and fairies. The Kalasha women are strong, lovable and, oddly enough, free. Shamim is the first woman who succeeded in going to university. She dreams of working with Athanassios Lerounis, the president of the Greek Volunteers NGO, who organize developmental and educational projects in the region, and of helping her tribe as much as she can. But suddenly, Athanassios is kidnapped by the Taliban. His abduction fills the Kalasha tribe with insecurity and fear. Everything changes. How will the Kalasha women of Hindu Kush cope with this? What will happen to Shamim and her dreams?
