    • Synopsis
    • Natalia has been working as a figure art model for over six years. In high demand on both sides of the Atlantic because of her unique ability to hold difficult poses for extended periods, she has accepted only limited assignments with photographers.
      As a model Natalia has a very clear and philosophically sound approach to her work, seeing it as a dialogue between the form she creates with her body and the artist's attempts to capture it.
      For this film Natalia and director Alvin Case decided to replicate her usual working arrangements with a local figure art group, a veteran artist, and her free access to the Museum of Fine Arts where she models on occasion. Adding a scene where she is faced with both a high resolution still camera and a motion picture camera simultaneously, she embraces the freedom to move through her poses gracefully, while at the same time struggling to find the connection that comes when working with more traditional art forms.
