- Synopsis
- Maia, a single mother of Montreal, thought she was done with her past when she receives an unprecedented Christmal present: a handful of notebooks, audiotapes and photographs from the 80s. That's everything Maia mailed to her best friend when she was a teenager in Beirut before she fled with her family to escape the war. The more she tries to hide what they contain, the more her teenage daughter, Alex, looks for answers. Maia's past resurfaces.
