    • Synopsis
    • Aiko Maeda, a female science student, has been the object of teasing since childhood because of a birthmark on the left side of her face. Thus, she has given up on love and having fun. Even in graduate school, she was devoted to her research, but her situation changed dramatically when she was interviewed for a book about "people with birthmarks or injuries on their face". The book is to be made into a movie, and through the introduction of her friend Marie, an editor, Aiko meets film director Tobisaka who is attractive to women. Aiko's feelings for Tobisaka, grows, which causes her to come face to face with her own complex.
