    • Synopsis
    • A man and a woman meet. On her 21st birthday, they married. He is a sailor and lives at the sea. On shore, she takes care of the house, the six children and the garden. Beatriz was a tree with deep roots, while Mário hovered at sea. Their relationship was built through love letters. Jacinto, the eldest child and my father, wanted to be a gardener. One day grandmother Beatriz dies. But Jacinto never forgot what was like seeing the world perched in her arms.
