    • Synopsis
    • Adriana (35), Nicole (35), María José (36) and Antonia (26) four women from Antofagasta have been using alternative menstruation products for more than a year, in search of a menstrual, mental and corporal reconciliation; after having lived through several uncomfortable and painful experiences since her teens. Each one of them recalls and reflects on the cultural, social and religious control devices; and sexual and gender mandates towards women's bodies and sexuality as they remember how they were constructed from their stories, through archival photos and videos. In addition, they question some myths that revolve around menstruation, for example: pills for periods, pre-menstrual syndrome, care and hygiene during menstruation and traditional gynaecological treatment. As they connect and discover the relationships of their bodies with menstruation, the stories of each one converge in their critical reflections on the ways of living each menstrual cycle.
