    • Synopsis
    • Few spaces involving as many stories as the Abasto must exist. And Nestor Frenkel made a movie that includes all. From its origin as a supplier of fruits and vegetables market to its present shopping and food court, and its nature tango ghost Gardel, political and cultural contexts through projects that fell by the wayside, Frenkel proposed a kaleidoscope in which crossing footage of newsreels of the time with film inserts and recognized ability to translate on screen interviews are already registered its mark as a filmmaker brand. Thus, interventions and above all privacy, private - Trail of the characters / witnesses to reconstruct the past of the place are a separate film, documentary and granted an extra grace and candor that make The Market is more - emotional and, above all, a fun - time travel laden with nostalgia.
