    • Synopsis
    • During a snowboarding heli-drop onto a remote sacred mountain, in the ice fields, a young snowboarding champion, Scott, and his girlfriend, Arianne, are attacked by a deadly creature.
Arianne, is wounded by the creature, and she absorbs some of its DNA, which creates an inescapable bond between them. Her recovery is unnaturally fast.

The creature appears to have Chimeric regenerative DNA, and this draws the attention of a pharmaceutical company, which hopes to exploit the creature and sends hunters to capture it.

From a First Nations elder, Scott discovers he is a descendant of a proud indigenous warrior, Yakatutch, who was cursed to live for eternity as a beast. The elder confirms that Yakatutuch was the creature which attacked them.

During the town’s winter festival, Yakatutch kidnaps Arianne to take her back to its glacial lair, believing she is what it needs to become human again.
Scott also uncovers that Yakatutch’s DNA mutates to what it eats.

When Scott fails to convince the authorities that Yakatutch is neither a myth nor an animal, Scott must find a way to reach Arianne and Yakatutch, before the corporate hunters do.

In a final confrontation, Scott must embrace his destiny and decide - whether to save or to destroy Yakatutch. Either choice risks losing Arianne forever.
