- One critic has described Renate Bertlmann's incredibly rich oeuvre as an "archive of curiosity. When the Viennese artist celebrates her 80th birthday in February 2023, we will look back on the life of a creative hard worker and pioneer of feminist art, whose works repeatedly expose gender clichés and patriarchal structures with irony and an "intellectual dissecting knife".
