- Jonny Richman is a Jewish teenager who appears to be living his life as a modern day cowboy. It’s driving his parent’s crazy. When he should be at Jewish Sunday school, he’s out on his horse patrolling the streets. When he should be in for Friday night dinner, he’s sleeping out under the stars in his back garden. Only a few years ago he was a budding science student, a young Einstein perhaps. Now he’s a poundshop Clint Eastwood.
  
  Why? What planet is he living on? Certainly not planet Manchester, with its rain and grey buildings. His parent’s are at their wit’s end, they have tried everything. This redemption tale takes us back in time to see what caused the transformation. Like all good cowboys he has an origin, a purpose, he has a mission, and we watch as Jonny’s journey takes him out into the cold Manchester streets, to find meaning.
