- Synopsis
- The barrier protecting humans from the realm of demons has fallen. The King of Demons sends Songling (Chan) in the guise of a master detective to track down every last beast, aided by a group of friendly spirits and a police detective named Fei (Lin). Songling learns that teenage village girls are being abducted by the beautiful demoness Xiaoqian (Zhong) and also encounters another spirit hunter Chixia (Juan) who tells of the tragic transformation of Xiaoqian from human to soul-sucking spirit. And so, instead of entrapping demons, Songling must now save one.
