- Synopsis
- A story about an ordinary citizen, who quite by chance finds himself in an extraordinary situation. His name is Branko Kralj and he is a lawyer, an excellent worker, very capable, intelligent, diligent and always punctual. However, his private life brings him into situations that cannot be dealt with by intelligence and diligence alone. Visnja, Branko`s wife, is also a lawyer. She works as an assistant in the Faculty of law, and they have a five year old son who has to live at the seaside with Visnja`s parents since he is ill. Visnja manages to go to Split at least once a week to see her son whereas Branko`s work does not allow him the time to do so and he gradually grows apart from his family. He grows increasingly tied to his mistress Irene, who loves him and offers him peace and tenderness.
