The Journey«????»is a heartwarming road trip movie. It follows an ageing father who goes on a cross-country motorcycle road trip through Malaysia with his future Caucasian son-in-law to hand deliver wedding invitations.

- Synopsis
- Uncle Chuan is an old-fashioned and conservative man a lonely retired life in the Cameron Highlands. His only wish is to be reunited with his only daughter Ah Bee who has been studying overseas.
  
  Finally Ah Bee returns after graduation but with her is Benji, her boyfriend and they are planning to get married. Uncle Chuan vigorously opposes the marriage, but fails to change his daughter’s mind. Uncle Chuan agrees to their marriage reluctantly but on one condition - their wedding ceremony must be according to Chinese tradition.
  
  According to traditional Chinese culture, a son-in-law is obliged to deliver the wedding invitations together with his father-in-law. To fulfil a childhood promise, Uncle Chuan wants to invite 11 ex-primary classmates who are living all over Malaysia. He plans a route map to visit these ex-classmates in order to invite them in person. Benji agrees but insists on traveling on his motorcycle.
  
  Their journey begins.
  
  And it was a journey filled with joys and sorrows. Meeting up with long lost friends cheers up Uncle Chuan and brings back old memories. However, one of the classmates pass away not long after. The unfortunate incident leads Uncle Chuan to feel that life is unpredictable and everyone should live with no regrets. He begins to re-evaluate his relationship with his daughter and son-in-law.
  
  Uncle Chuan and Benji learn to take care of each other despite the language barrier. Both learn to compromise and their differences lessen by day. Uncle Chuan slowly realizes that Benji is the right partner for his daughter.
  
  At last, Uncle Chuan reunites with his ex-classmates. With the blessing of these special guests, Uncle Chuan hands over his daughter to Benji at the wedding ceremony.
