    • Synopsis
    • Someday, somewhere is a city, called Rightland, where only right-handed people live. Strangely enough one of its most beautiful buildings is left-handers theater, called “The Moon”. And citizens of the Rightland are not particularly fond on it.
VERONICA, 23 years old, clumsy actress is struggling in right handers theater, called “The Sun”, playing a sixth swan in the second row. One day she realizes that the possibility of her becoming the biggest star is equal to the possibility of a jellyfish reaching the moon. Having lost all hope, she meets strange and mysterious MR. HADES, who offers her a deal – she needs to pretend being left-handed and infiltrate “The Moon”. She would only need to tell him all what is happening there and in return he would make her a diva of ‘The Sun’. Veronica is not so sure as every right-handed person dislikes left-handed people. But she does not want to be a jellyfish…
Veronica knocks on the doors of “The Moon”. DAVID, one-handed young charming director’s assistant, lets her in. It is love from a first sight. A new life starts - she begins rehearsing and getting to know the theater. Yet Mr. Hades comes up with a strange demand. Veronica needs to bring him fingernails of each crew member of ‘The Moon’. She does that unwillingly.
Veronica gets to know that she is selected for the main part in “Lady Macbeth”. It seems that all her dreams are coming true. But David understands that she is lying as he notices her using right hand while brushing her hair. They get into a fight. Veronica says that her dream is more important than small lies.
Next morning David is accused of beating up a right-handed boy, his nails are provided as evidence. The riot begins in the city. Veronica tries to see David in the jail but he pushes her away. She is depressed and feels that she is only one to blame. She decides to fight back, even if it means abandoning her life-long dream of becoming “the star”. But now will this self-sacrifice be enough?
