- Synopsis
- 1966. After being separated from his mother minutes after being born, Felipe, a ten-year-old boy, travels from a children's colony in Buenos Aires to the leper colony on Isla del Cerrito where she is still receiving treatment. After a decade without seeing each other, the authorities allow a reunion of just a couple of days. Tense moments are experienced in the leper colony. A group of businessmen close to the government is pushing to bulldoze the clinic's facilities and build a tourist center in its place. Aware of such rogue intentions, doctors, residents, nurses and Felipe himself organize the resistance. The kid finds his true home on the Island, in his mother and the residents his real family... nothing and no one will be able to pulling him out of there again.
