    • Synopsis
    • In Puerto Tejada, an isolated municipality within a sugar cane plantation, lives an Afro-Colombian population historically subjected to the incessant work of sugar cane cultivation: a modern slavery with invisible chains. This has led young people to organize into gangs and divide their territory with "invisible borders": imaginary lines where, day after day, they confront each other.

This documentary immerses us, through Poncho’s eyes, the leader of the "the 13th" gang, and the most feared killer in the neighborhood, into the underworld of cyclical violence.

After receiving seven gunshots, Poncho retreats from the streets and seeks refuge in his barbershop; a ghetto where he instructs young gang members in banditry, but also where he works as a hairdresser. Poncho’s invisible border, which he refuses to cross, is the exit from his own home.

Like a diptych, the interior of the hair salon is a reflection of the community. From the visible surface to the invisible depths, day after day we witness the daily routine of violence in its different facets and dimensions: a journey through the spiral of a labyrinth with no exit.
