- Synopsis
- 　Three friends and law students, Kiyoyoshi (a.k.a. Seigi=Justice), Mirei and Kaoru, harbor dreams of the legal profession. But when anonymous letter accusing Kiyoyoshi and Mirei of a past crime arrives, it sparks a rash of inexplicable crimes around them. Kiyoyoshi turns to his law school’s top student, Kaoru, for help in finding the criminal, but none is ever found, and they all graduate. Then one day, Kiyoyoshi, now a lawyer, gets a call from Kaoru. When he arrives at the appointed place, he finds Kaoru collapsed and bleeding from his chest, But next to the fallen friend stands Mirei, covered in blood and holding a knife. “Will you defend me?” she pleads, and says nothing more. With the three former friends finding themselves legal defense, suspect and victim, various truths begin to emerge, unveiling their hidden secrets, and culminating in an arresting conclusion!
