    • Synopsis
    • A distant population in the Colombian Amazon region has suffered a series of suicides amongst its younger native inhabitants, both male and female, usually between the ages of 14 and 25, all born in indigenous families and all of them having education. In the vacuum of these deaths we can see the contradiction that the current generation of the Vaupes jungle must face. They must find themselves a home between the aboriginal world of their parents and the world taught to them by the schools of the men that they call “white”. They journey back after finishing their education and they must go back to their origin, where the limit that they inhabit in is clear, and that this movie shows. It is the thin border between the vanished pre-hispanic populations and the new ways of life that try to inhabit the same space.
