    • Synopsis
    • In 1994 a 13-year-old boy disappears without trace from San Antonio, Texas. Three years later the boy is found alive halfway across the world in Spain with accounts of a horrifying kidnap ordeal. His family is overjoyed to bring him home - but all is not quite as it seems. This is the incredible story of one of the greatest deceptions of all time, in which a 23 year old Frenchman FREDERIC BOURDIN convinces the authorities and a grieving family that he is their lost child. However, the longer Bourdin lives with the family, the more he begins to wonder how a mother could fail to know her own son, or a sister her own brother. Feeling increasingly trapped by his own ruse, THE IMPOSTER begins to question whether in fact HEis the one being conned.
