- Synopsis
- The idea of the existence of one or more gods, whose purpose is to save the world, becomes stronger when people feel they’re losing control over the events. And yet, Chiara does not believe in God. Even though she is working the lights for a dance-theatre show about Dionysus, a god who punishes humanity for failing to acknowledge his divine nature. Until one day, her young and charming father, Vittorio, bursts into her life affected by a disease that very much feels like a form of divine punishment. Chiara is now faced with an ancestral, universal dilemma that unites human beings from all times and places. It is a true story, portrayed as a drama that Chiara’s subconscious stages on repeat, like an endless Eucharist that can only lead to the one answer.
