- Molly, a small town girl with dreams of becoming a writer, leaves her tiny Vermont town to pursue a career in New York City. Unfortunately, her personal assistant job occupies her entire life and she has no time for writing. Upon discovering that her family Christmas tree farm is being bought out by a developer, Molly drops everything to return home. Back in Vermont, she discovers that her old flame, Lucas, is spearheading a housing development project on her beloved family land. Molly must find the courage to stop the development and reclaim the life—and love—that she left behind.
