- Synopsis
- Coyo has one good friend, a loyal dog and a loving family. He lives in suburban neighborhood set on bringing the American Dream to Mexico. There he meets Ruco, the son of a prominent politician and leader of the pack of neighborhood kids. Ruco takes Coyo under his wing in spite of ex-best-friends disapproval. They spend their time partying, chasing girls, and getting into fistfights while the rest of the pack steal as some kind of sport and resort to violence to fulfill their ambition for authority. If only Coyo and Ruco weren’t both after Sofia, everything would be just fine. While Coyo’s hijinks grow unpunished Ruco makes it more than clear that loyalty towards the leader and respect for a friend’s girlfriend, are the most important rules to follow. Freedom, boredom, adrenaline and excess, drive Coyo and Ruco into a journey marked with blood, tears, love and hate, to discover the best-kept secret dividing winners and losers in life.
