- Synopsis
- The 'Lantern Moon' village was ever a peaceful rice farm village. There was the most beautiful full moon in the world. The village farmers had a tradition of harvesting their rice in the full moon night. They started to harvest in the first full moon night of the harvest season. Such a night, the moon shone so bright as a day. The paddy field was illuminated by the bright lights and looked like a golden field. However, one night the dark army had invaded the village. They shot and bombed to kill people. Most of people died in the paddy field until the golden field turned into red by soaking with the blood. Some women were arrested to rape and kill. The survivors had to scatter to the other towns or countries. Then they became refugees. Wa La, a girl who had survived from the massacre night, decided to escape from the refugee camp and back to her village, destroyed by the dark army. She needed to retrieve her village. Anyway she found the soldiers had plotted several mines through out the paddy field. Nobody could live in such dangerous place even an animal. Her first mission, therefore, was to disarm the land mines.
