- Synopsis
- Taking place in Shanghai in 2022, the story centers around ZHAO-XIUYAN, a resident who is facing the land collection by the government. She has been divorced for a decade. In anticipation of her son's future wedding, she aims to secure a compensation home. However, she almost falls prey to a male customer's scam, which could have resulted in her losing all her life savings, and also loses her colleague's 100,000CNY bracelet. So she has to purchase with a loan in order to return it. ZHAO learns later that the bracelet is counterfeit.
