    • Synopsis
    • When Emma, a young girl living in Curaçao, has visions of an impending storm, her Grandmother is encouraged to tell her of her family’s past. In 18th century Lisbon, Anaisa, a young painter, also has a vision of a large tidal wave engulfing the city. When a terrible disaster strikes, her paintings condemn her family as sorcerers and secret Jews, bringing destruction and chaos upon Lisbon. While Anaisa and her sister survive, her family is torn apart, as they leave the once beautiful city forever. Will Emma also be forced to leave her home?
