    • Synopsis
    • Eric is a young musician. One night, while waiting for his slot on open-mic night at a bar, he meets Jo, an impulsive, fun, beautiful girl. They instantly fall for each other, but she represents everything Eric is not, in the way she understands life, in the way she understands love...

One day, after a very heated discussion concerning Eric’s jealousy, Jo disappears.
After some days without news of her, he finds out she is at a psychedelic festival in the middle of the Nevada desert. Fearing he might have lost her forever, Eric embarks on a chaotic journey to win her back. Strange characters will cross his path, among them Alex, Jo’s ex- boyfriend, and Penelope, his wife, who will put to test the lovers’ reunion. But Eric will have to compromise and leave his fears behind if he wants to take Jo home.

The Girl from the song is a present-day, free adaptation of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice set in the Burning Man Festival.
