    • Synopsis
    • In 1960 Adolf Eichmann –the key man to carry out “the final solution to the Jewish question”- was kidnapped in Argentina and taken to Israel for a trial. Fifty years later, Renate Liebeskind, a young German translator who lives in Argentina is hired to translate that trial into Spanish. Eichmann’s images and words at the trial puzzle Renate. Protected by a bulletproof cabin, he looks human and vulnerable. Entangled by certainty and ambiguity, Renate decides to pursue her own research. She starts looking for answers in conversations with historians, philosophers or victims. Not completely satisfied, she embarks on a journey that follows the one of Eichmann’s after he has arrived in Argentina.
