- Synopsis
- It is the last day of summer in Budapest, and the American-born Sasha and her Hungarian boyfriend, Boldizsár, are about to secretly get married to obtain a Green Card and start a mutual life in the USA. Their plan fails due to a missing document. Facing the fact that no matter what, she needs to leave the next day to continue her studies, the distressed Sasha finds shelter in a vision of the First Woman and First Man – imagining themselves in a world without border controls or politics: as two people discovering each other. On the meantime, this unforeseen change brings out their hidden issues,leading to painful fights while rushing from family lunch to work in a twirl of hating and loving while time is running out.
