    • The family reunion during the Chinese New Year has always been an important tradition of the Chinese people since ancient times. Every year, hundreds of millions of Chinese people go home for the family reunion before the lunar New Year by trains, planes and automobiles.
According to statistics, during the 40 days around the Chinese New Year in 2006, the number of passengers traveling in China broke the historical record and reached a total of 400 million people.
The story of the film happens among three irrelevant people in a big city right before the 2006 Chinese New Year. They are a foreman who has been out of home for several years, a middle school principal who wants to finish the interior decoration of his new house before the Chinese New Year, and a cardiology doctor who wants to go back to his hometown to celebrate his father's 80th birthday. These three unrelated people's lives are tangled together by Chinese New Year… The film reveals that everyone is equal to each other and everyone needs each other in the world.
