    • Synopsis
    • In a #lm consisting entirely of #ctitious found-footage, we discover how a young activist, Ulysse, provokes a nationwide cataclysm by stealing a micro-organism developed by a state laboratory: the "mycelium". This microorganism has the ability to degrade all metals and their components, and its spread would risk taking the whole of civilization back to the Stone Age. In parallel, we follow the story of the young couple formed by Alexandre and Hélène, friends of Ulysse, whom they know from their student and militant days. Hélène works as a sign language translator for the government. She is often far from her partner and their little daughter, Myrtille, who live in an isolated house in the countryside. As the #lm progresses and the mycelium spreads, society as a whole will be affected by this kind of end-of-the-world phenomenon, and this couple in particular will feel the jolts.
      Through a wide variety of visual sources (Skype calls, TV news, youtubers, scenes from political life, etc.), the #lm stages the catastrophe and the images it produces, in an attempt to capture our contemporary world through the medium of science #ction.
