    • Synopsis
    • Three children from the West Bank are smuggled into Israel, arriving at the Jaffa home of George and Rita. Their mother is dead and their father is imprisoned for life. George fears hiding illegal aliens will endanger Rita and himself as Israeli Palestinians. Rita believes the arrival of these children could give her life meaning. Nearby, English director Jerry is shooting a film about his parents’ 1947 love affair, when they served in the British army in Palestine. When George is invited to play a part, the two stories intertwine and tensions erupt.
