- Synopsis
- During Buenos Aires’ summer heat, 10-year-old Begonia must assimilate a national financial crisis. Her parents are in between-jobs and taking second jobs to make ends meet. They can’t afford to go on vacation, so they send Bego to a public summer day camp where she’ll be challenged by the economic inequalities between herself and her peers. Back at home she spends most of her time watching Tik Tok videos and that’s how she finds out about a magician and a community that opens a dark magic world to her, transforming (or escaping from) her reality and the reality of those around her.
