- Synopsis
- In 1778, the poet Lenz is expelled from Weimar by Goethe, his friend and mentor. Kaufmann, a doctor and his last confidant, sends him to the pastor Oberlin's home to find inner peace.10-year-old Mikael Oberlin, the pastor's son, tells us how Lenz came into his life as a child and how much this encounter upset him.In the heart of a benevolent village community, a secret bond will be forged between the poet and the child. Mikael will do everything to help Lenz, who is on the verge of collapse, regain his taste for life.
