- Synopsis
- Suster Ngesot is a tale of horror based on local folklore. The ghost of a nurse that haunts men and women who betray their partners, Suster Ngesot became as such when her own partner, then a young doctor, was unfaithful towards her.
  Our story is about a young, beautiful nurse, Vira, who moves from Bandung to Jakarta with her attractive best friend, Silla, to pursue her career. Having found jobs at a reputed hospital, the two best friends move into an old, dilapidated boarding house in the neighborhood.
  Vira is currently in a relationship with Mike, a handsome student from Australia who is on an eight month sabbatical in Jakarta. While Vira is clearly in love with Mike, his feelings are more superficial and he soon finds himself having an affair with Vira’s own best friend, Silla.
  Strange things then begin to happen. Vira incidentally finds out the truth about her room, and the fact that it was locked for decades because the murder of a young nurse, Lastri Sulistia, had occurred there and she was in fact buried in the walls! She then finds a diary, which suddenly appears before a death occurs, always with the initial of the next victim!
  When the diary resurfaces, and the initial ‘M’ appears, she fears that Mike and Silla have committed the ultimate betrayal. She tries to force a confession and Silla finally admits to her guilt but is it too little too late? It appears that Suster Ngesot does not forgive, and won’t leave till she gets her revenge.
