    • Synopsis
    • About thirty years ago, the diver Henri Cosquer discovered, in the Calanques massif, an exceptional site, two-thirds submerged, which was going to call into question all the archaeological knowledge of the territory: an ornate cave, with parietal paintings remarkably preserved, dating from the Paleolithic.
Alongside the very first team of prehistorians in charge of studying the site, we follow the breadcrumb trail to try to understand the mysteries of the first hunter-gatherers of the territory.
But will we have enough time to study their sacred art and way of life?
While offshore the new team has taken up the torch of scientific missions, in the heart of Marseille we are already busy building a facsimile to restore the hidden treasures and transmit to the public the knowledge of the fragile site, threatened by rising water.
