- Synopsis
- Valentina, who has seen her parents arrested for producing “subversive” publications against the dictator Porfirio Díaz, flees taking a bag of gold coins with her. She has to get these to the rebel Madero who is in San Antonio (Texas). So Valentina begins a long journey from the City of Mexico to the Texan City as a member of a traveling circus. Here she finds love with Victor who is mad about the cinema and spends his time filming everything that goes on around him at a time of great political upheaval.
