    • Our story begins at Cluj Station, in Transylvania shortly after World War One, with the capture of two shabby street kids: ZSÓFIA and her little brother, JÁNOS. They, among other war-weary children, are thrown onto a locomotive destined for northern European countries for foster care.

During the eight day journey they must not only survive hunger and disease, desperadoes and refugees, but learn to interact with children from all different walks of life and nationalities.

Yet as they steam towards their final destination of Amsterdam, storm clouds gather on the horizon and a torrential downpour begins, threatening their safe passage and the children must band together to survive.
