- Synopsis
- During a school trip to the Center for Experimental Archeology (CAREX), a group of kids come upon a dead body where a replica of a Neanderthal burial site should be. It belongs to Eva Santos, a girl from the nearby village of Atapuerca. Naked and placed in fetal position, the grisly ritual crime scene is reminiscent of another murder that took place six years ago in the very same spot. The judge, Vázquez de Mella, assigns the case to the same police officers who covered the earlier murder: Silvia Gúzman, now the head of a police unit, and Daniel Velarde, a former cop who comes back on as an advisor. The murderer, a taxidermist named Carlos Béjar, slipped through their grasp years ago. Is “the site killer”
