The actual incident occurred on May 14 (Monday) 2018 morning at 30,000 feet on Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8633 from the southern city of Chongqing to Lhasa. About 40 minutes after the Airbus A319 flight took off at 6:27a.m. local time (10:27 GMT), the cockpit windshield shattered and flung the aircraft into a state of low pressure with a temperature at minus 30 to minus 40 degree Celsius over the Tibetan Plateau. The co-pilot was sucked halfway out of the cockpit window and all things went down.
