    • Synopsis
    • In search of peace and quiet in order to concentrate on a mysterious piece of work, a student rents a room in the home of a small family. His hosts give him a warm welcome, yet after a while, the parents coerce him into becoming the tutor to their eight-year-old son Klaus who has been home-schooled by his father. A highly neurotic relationship structure comes to the surface, under which young Klaus suffers the most. Unable to cope with the high expectations of his parents, he has no time to play or to enjoy being a child. When the student begins to side with Klaus and stands up to his domineering parents, the situation threatens to spiral out of control in a microcosm in which Der Bunker creates a world of its own somewhere between an absurd comedy, a horror film, a melodrama and a B movie.
