- Synopsis
- A young American woman, Greta (Lauren Cohan), looking to escape a troubled past, takes a job as a nanny and moves to an isolated home in rural England. She comes to find out that the child she was hired to care for is not an actual 8-year-old boy, but a life-sized porcelain doll. Isolated and alone in the house, strange events begin to unfold and as Greta begins to question whether the doll is actually alive, she learns she wasn’t just hired – she was chosen.
