    • Synopsis
    • Ben (JOSHUA DALLAS) has finished serving his sentence for assault and battery; now he wants to start a new life.
Ben has renounced violence for good in prison. Only Joe (STACY KEACH), an old ex-boxer in very poor health, has pity with him. Actually, the boisterous young man reminds him of himself, and so he offers Ben a position as a utility man in his run-down gym. Joe decides to train Ben, even though Kevin (HENRY GARRETT) has unsuccessfully asked to be trained by him for years, Kevin’s had enough. He challenges his rival to fight him.
Ben and Kevin’s girlfriend, Natalie (KELLY ADAMS), instantly connect the moment they first meet, and it could well develop into something more than just friendship. Kevin notices their connection, and he sure doesn’t like it. He challenges his rival to fight him. But Ben has renounced violence for good in prison.
On the other hand, Joe’s training has taught him that brawling and boxing are essentially two very different things: in the boxing ring you fight with your head – a brawl is driven by irrational emotions coming right from your guts, which makes the fight unpredictable.
Ben realizes that he must seize his chance for a better life. No matter how small it may be. And he has nothing to loose...
