Every winter on the island of Tierra del Fuego, one of the most awesome car races in the world is held: La Hermandad Grand Prix. This race, full of mysticism and folklore, takes place at open borders, as a symbol of the unity among two towns confronted during the war years.

- Synopsis
- "THE BORDERHOOD" is a documentary about one of the most exciting car races in the extreme south of America. More than 200 cars, grouped in different categories, race with open borders enduring the harsh weather, joining the routes of Chile and Argentina, in the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego.
  
  Using unpublished archival material, we can see how this race was run uninterruptedly for almost 50 years. Neither the military conflict of the Beagle nor the Malvinas War, could cancel the competition. In those sad years, the vehicles rushed across the border without passing through customs, and drove on the hardest roads, as a symbol of peace and union between these brother countries.
  
  In order to produce "THE BORDERHOOD", the film crew was present in several editions of this motoring festival, full of mysticism and folklore, to film its participants skidding on the gravel, the mud or the snow, and the colorful public which has been encouraging the race along the roadside for more than 40 years, in the smoke of the barbecues.
  
  "THE BORDERHOOD" is a documentary film about how sport unites and strengthens the bonds between the two towns that share the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego.
