    • Synopsis
    • From producer Kevin Misher (“The Scorpion King”, “Public Enemies”), and the hilarious comedy group, “The Black Version,” comes an African-American spin on the stereotypical “white people” wedding movie.

Marilyn, an unlucky-in-love businesswoman, has yet to find the perfect guy to marry. Her solution? A staged wedding with the perfect groom followed by a quickie divorce! -- what could possibly go wrong? Well for starters, falling in love with the “groom”, when you’re not supposed to. And wanting to stay married, when he’s got other weddings to do. Even worse, not realizing that “Mr. Right” may actually be the guy hired to be the Best Man. “The Black Version of Wedding Movies” takes the familiar wedding formula and turns it into something fresh, modern and, most important, outrageously funny.
