- Paul and Marcus are buddies. Paul has kids, Marcus doesn’t. Marcus loves Hélène, his girlfriend. Paul loves Ulrika, but she doesn’t love him, so he stays with Fanchon out of love for the children. Paul is an actor. Marcus is supposed to be a
