- Synopsis
- When old friends and fellow thespians Oscar Wade and Steve St Clair arrive at the same prestigious audition, they’re surprised to find each other rivaling for the role of a famous American killer. Years have passed since acting school, when the sensitive, diligent Oscar chose a life of the theatre, and vain, fickle Steve opted for the money and celebrity of TV.
  As they wait restlessly in the holding room before the audition of their careers, old tensions and jealousies surface. Oscar has become a method actor and, when his old friend’s arrogance goads him to jealousy and resentment, he loses himself.
  Oscar suggests a read-through of the script's final murderous scene – just like old times. But as they work through it, the dark intentions of the killer possess Oscar and fictional words begin to contain real emotion, leading to breaking point when Oscar is deep in role…
