    • Synopsis
    • Alim is a middle-aged tailor apprentice whose life has been stable and predictable. Anxious and irrationally fearful of death, Alim's constant fears limits his ambitions and social circles.

When he hears of a news item regarding the dangers of cars running on autogas which spontaneously explode, he decides to move to an apartment close to work to avoid getting into a car. He befriends his landlord, drawing the suspicion of the local barber.

A horror of the mundane, careful in its approach to everyday fears. This is Emre Konuk's directorial debut, known for his cinematography in The Road to Aleppo (2014), which was shot on location during wartime Syria.
