- Synopsis
- Jacques is a respected reporter for a major French regional newspaper. A talented and impartial journalist, he has been a recluse since his photographer friend died during a report in Syria. It was then that he was contacted by a Vatican bishop to carry out a particular mission: to be part of the committee in charge of investigating several apparitions of the Virgin Mary seen by a girl, Anna, in a small town in the south of France. While thousands of pilgrims come to gather at the place of the presumed apparitions, Jacques meets the sensitive and devout Anna, divided between her faith and the many requests she receives, but also discovers the hidden motivations and the pressures at work . While confronted with opposing views of clergy and skeptics of the investigative committee, Jacques' beliefs will be turned upside down...
