    • Synopsis
    • Bernardo and Esperanza met in Bilbao in 1978, when they were both pursuing their university studies in the midst of the hectic political circumstances of the time. They maintained an intermittent relationship until in 2001, during a trip to Havana with the purpose of visiting her aunt and cousin, whom she did not know, they separated forever. Esperanza returned to Bilbao and Bernardo remained in Cuba. Cristina, a young woman who lives with her boyfriend in Bilbao and who has precarious jobs, including cleaning and taking care of Esperanza's house, who is absent on a long professional trip, crosses paths between the two. Cristina is going to discover some personality traits of the owner of the apartment where she works and also something that can help her and her boyfriend live much better times.
